Vasque Breeze LT GTX Boots Review
The Vasque Breeze LT GTX is a hiking boot with an incredibly lightweight design.

According to Vasque, the Breeze LT GTX is 25% lighter than its predecessors and offers excellent traction thanks to the Vibram® Litebase with Megagrip compound outsole. A TPU moulded yarn mesh around the ankle adds additional structure and support without adding weight like conventional leather. The upper is created with a synthetic microfiber and abrasion resistant mesh for a precise fit. To keep feet dry and more comfortable, GORE-TEX Extended Comfort technology has been used and it creates a waterproof barrier that is also breathable.
Bhavin has been putting the Vasque Breeze LT GTX to good use for the last couple of weeks and is sharing his views on the same. Over to him.
The first thing I noticed when I wore these boots were how lightweight they were! With minimal break-in needed and with good support and cushioning, these boots have been great for walking and hiking adventures in different weather conditions.
The boots feature a Vibram LiteBase sole that offers good grip and I was able to hit our local trails even during muddy and wet conditions. The lug pattern is good and provides a smooth experience. I also liked the fact that the outsole is convex at the front foot allowing more nimbleness during hiking. It also takes some stress off the ankle joint and provides extra protection to the toes.
The boots are waterproof with GORE-TEX® and Extended Comfort Technology Waterproofing; so if you are looking for a good pair of waterproof, hiking boots to keep your feet dry and comfortable then the the Vasque Breeze LT GTX fits the bill.
The lace system on the boots is good; there is a series of eyelets and two pairs of speed hooks that offer a better fit and also speed up the lacing and unlacing process.
The Vasque Breeze LT GTX hiking boots are a good choice if you are on the lookout for a waterproof and breathable hiking boot that offers foot protection and stability without being heavy. For me the key features have been the boot's lightweight nature and the support & cushioning they offer. The only issue I had was in terms of the fit. I would recommend going up half a size than your usual size for the perfect fit.
Overall, the Vasque Breeze LT GTX has a nice selection of features that are suited for different outdoor adventures.
