Spring ready with Weird Fish
Finally, spring is in full swing! Gardens all across the country have started to bloom, birds are singing, bumblebees are emerging from their hibernation and if you are lucky to have woodpeckers around where you live, you might hear them tapping away on tree barks. We love the outdoors, especially in spring. It is so beautiful to see tender green leaves ready to unfurl and colourful blooms in the gardens. And the extra hours of evening daylight mean that we have more time to enjoy the outdoors. And we have been doing precisely that.

Living near Lee Valley Regional Park means we have so much to see and do right on our doorsteps - innumerable walking and nature trails, beautiful gardens (Myddelton House Gardens, Forty Hall Estate and Capel Manor Gardens) and parks (Gunpowder Park, Sewardstone Marsh & Rammey Marsh). And this Spring we have decided to explore as much of the Lee Valley Regional Park as possible.
And we have been dressed for the season in some of Weird Fish's latest offerings. Weird Fish is a British brand that makes really comfy clothing. We have featured them on the blog earlier as well, with their Charlize Striped Shower Resistant Jacket being one of my favourite pieces from the brand. This time around we put their Ross Full Zip Grid Fleece and Kiki Printed Cotton Jacket to test.
Both the pieces reflect the top-notch quality that we have come to expect from Weird Fish. Made from good quality materials with equally good finishing touches, both the fleece and the jacket are great for Spring/Summer wear.
The Ross Full Zip Grid Fleece (£45) features a full zip, 2 slip side pockets, a secure zip-fastened pocket and a microfleece lining on the interior of the collar. It is very comfy to wear and is a relatively thin layer, making it an excellent choice for spring adventures.
The Kiki Printed Cotton Jacket (£55) is a classic nautical style canvas jacket that features 2 side pockets, a lined hood and toggle adjusters for a comfy fit. It is made from 100% cotton and is perfect for the current season - whether you are heading out on countryside walks, are exploring the coast or are simply out on an everyday errand.
Both the pieces are fab! Comfortable, well made and hard-wearing as the other Weird Fish clothing we have. Check them out at www.weirdfish.co.uk
