Keen Terradora | Women's Waterproof Boots
KEEN recently unveiled a new women-specific footwear collection - Terradora. The lightweight hiking boot which doubles as an around-town trekker offers flexible freedom and all-day comfort and has been designed specifically for women. The stylish Terradora is perfect to wear around town and equally perfect for hiking trips. It is kind of like a well-thought combination of a hiking shoe with the comforts of a sneaker - a perfect mix of the sporty and casual styles. No wonder Terradora won the 2017 Op Pad Outdoor Awards in the Shoe Category.
- Breathable mesh lining
- Cushion panel that takes pressure off the Achilles
- Dual density PU footbed
- ESS stability shank for support
- KEEN.DRY ® waterproof breathable membrane
- Lightweight breathable mesh and a synthetic upper
- Cleansport NXT™ for natural odour control
Keen Terradora features a super-nimble, glove-like fit and has been built for the female form. The narrower last through the heel adds an elevated level of stability for steep elevations, whilst added cushioning offers protection and incredible comfort on the trek back down the hill.
I have put the Terradora to a lot of use in the last few weeks and I love the comfort and support that it offers. It is stylish, offers good cushioning and the best part is that it is lightweight. Despite its lightweight frame, it offers comfort and quality that you would normally expect from a bulkier model of a hiking boot. The boots are roomy in the front (which is how I like it) and even with thick socks, they fit well.
The mesh knit uppers with the KEEN.DRY ® waterproof breathable membrane do their job well. Walking through wet grass is not a worry anymore. The all-terrain rubber outsole provides a reliable grip whether it is a hiking trail or the tarmac. All in all, the Terradora is an incredibly lightweight boot perfect for moderate hiking trips as well as for other urban outdoor adventures.
Terradora is available both as a shoe and as a lightweight mid-height boot (as seen in this post). It comes in waterproof and non-waterproof models and is available in the UK sizes 3.5 to 8.5. I normally go a half size up in hiking boots but with KEEN, I chose my regular size because of the wider fit and they are very comfortable. I would recommend going with your usual shoe size when ordering the Terradora.

I like the sound and look of these. I have been looking for waterproof shoes that are lightweight for a while, most are quite bulky and heavy.
ReplyDeleteThese are well made and most importantly lightweight making them very comfortable to wear even for long periods.
