Jennycliff Bay, South Devon AONB
Last week, while in Devon, we visited Jennycliff Bay. Jennycliff Bay along with Bovisand Bay, Mount Batten and Cawsand Bay are designated as Site of Special Scientific Interest(SSSI).
At Jennycliff there is a lovely little café with the most beautiful views imaginable. There is well-maintained grass area with lot of seating arrangements. It is a lovely place for picnics or to just enjoy the scenic beauty. From the bay, you head down to a small pebble beach with lots of rock pools which are home to different types of marine wildlife.
Jennycliff is a lovely place for great walks, a nice place for boat spotting and an equally lovely location for photography. It is well worth visiting if you are driving or walking along the South Coast path. There is a free car park (with toilet facilities) near Jennycliff. The post code is PL9 9SW.
I leave you with a few photographs.
