Performance and Our Experience

The 1001 SMART City backpack is a medium sized backpack perfect for 14-15 inch laptops. My 15.6-inch laptop also fits in comfortably but I cannot strap it in. My husband has a 14-inch laptop and it fits in the backpack perfectly. The first thing we both said when we saw the backpack, was how stylish and unique it is. You cannot miss the attention to detail and the excellent quality of the materials used. The backpack just feels and looks better than any backpack we have seen or used so far. Whenever we have carried our laptop in the SMART City backpack, it has been well protected. The strap secures it in place and the padding offers protection. The backpack is very spacious with hundreds of pockets. Okay, not that many but enough to organise all your stuff. We could fit in a laptop, an iPad, a camera, a couple of books, keys, sunglasses, and other bits and bobs comfortably. The backpack can become a bit heavy when fully loaded, but the padded and adjustable shoulder straps provide comfort. Cushioned pockets ensure that the backpack sits comfortably on the wearer's back, distributing the load uniformly providing extra comfort. This is excellent especially if you are going to carry the backpack daily to work.

Joey T35/T55 Power Source

The backpack features an integrated Joey power supply that can help recharge electronic devices on the move. This feature comes in handy when you are travelling. You no longer have to worry about finding plug points at the airport or elsewhere. You can charge most smartphones, iPods, tablets and MP3 players using the Joey. The main battery component is tucked away in one of the pockets in the backpack and the Joey access point that you would need for charging your devices has been placed conveniently near the top of the front compartment. Fingerprint Lock

One of the best features of the backpack is the 4-slot biometric fingerprint lock. With the biometric mechanism, there is no longer any need for keys or codes.
