    Chocolate are a good gift for ***most*** occasions. Lets be honest, a box of Quality Street wouldn't really make the grade as a wedding gift, but for most other occasions, yeah, choc on!

    I think you can use chocolates as a gift for most celebratory occasions - birthday, Christmas, wedding anniversary, Valentine's day and so on. However, if you took chocolates to a funeral or memorial service I think you might get some funny looks.

    I think chocolates are fitting for almost every occasion. It might be a little odd for a sad occasion, but a subdued flavor might suit the mood (and most funerals I've been to have time for family/friends to share some food). I do know a few people who aren't into chocolate (still trying to figure out how), so I wouldn't take it to them.
