A Luxurious Stay at The Mallory Court Hotel in Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire
I love country house hotels and the Mallory Court Hotel in Warwickshire stole my heart with its grandeur, luxury and beautiful grounds. A part of the Eden Hotel Collection, the winning aspect of this 31 bedroom manor house is the warm and friendly hospitality exhibited by each and every member of the staff. If you are looking for an exquisite and relaxing weekend away in Warwickshire, then there aren't many places that could match the Mallory Court Hotel.
The room was perfect - just how we wanted it - cosy and comfy. It was very spacious, beautifully furnished and had all the mod-cons. Complimentary water, drinks and fruits were provided and there was a good selection of magazines and books too. A coffee making machine with an assortment of coffee capsules was also provided in the room. But the best part about the room was how quiet and peaceful it was.
There was a main bathroom with a bath and a shower cubicle and there was also a separate toilet. Loved the marbled bathroom - spacious and well lit, it was perfect for me to get ready in the morning. Luxurious dressing gowns and toiletries from ESPA were provided.
During our stay I also got the chance to visit a few other rooms in the hotel and I liked what I saw. All the rooms were beautifully done. There are rooms of varying sizes and ranging in prices. The Main House has larger rooms that reflect the country house feel and most of them overlook the beautiful gardens. The rooms in the newer Knight Suite are more modern. You can talk to the staff at the hotel and they will be more than happy to assist you in choosing the right room based on your requirements.
The hotel is also a very good venue for meetings and conferences. They have a range of event spaces; from stylish private rooms in the Main House to large, purpose-built work spaces in the Knights Suite. With state-of-the-art conference facilities, fine-dining in the Main House restaurant and gourmet food in the Brasserie, Mallory Court is perfect to host conferences, training sessions and even team building events.
With Christmas round the corner, if you are looking for a magical festive getaway, then Mallory Court is highly recommended. They have some special Christmas and New Year offers and if you book via their website, you are sure to get the best rates.

Getting There
We drove to Leamington Spa from Stratford-upon-Avon and the drive was fairly short and pleasant. Ample parking is available at the hotel and staff are happy to assist with your luggage and also valet park your car. If you are arriving by train the nearest train station is Leamington Spa. The hotel has a helipad nearby. So, if you are planning to arrive by helicopter you can contact the hotel for the helipad co-ordinates.Check-in
As we arrived at the hotel, there was a sense of anticipation and expectation and we were not disappointed. We stepped into the hotel, walked to the main reception area and were immediately greeted by a friendly receptionist. A quick chat and in a couple of minutes we had been checked in. Another member of the staff then escorted us to our room. The Room
Our room was located in the main house. It was a very generous sized, queen-bedded double room with a main bathroom en-suite and a separate toilet. The room was decorated (as you would expect) in a country house style and there was a mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities, CD player, digital LCD TV, hairdryer, free Wi-Fi and a very comfortable bed. The room had large windows offering beautiful views of Mallory Court’s grounds and herb garden. The room was perfect - just how we wanted it - cosy and comfy. Dining at Mallory Court
There are two dining options at the Mallory Court Hotel - a formal fine dining restaurant (which is located in the main house) and an informal Brasserie (located in the hotel grounds). The Brasserie serves lunch daily and dinner Monday to Saturday. During our stay, we opted for the fine dining experience. The dining room is a beautiful, oak-panelled restaurant with beautiful views of the gardens. Fresh ingredients are sourced from local suppliers and the restaurant also makes use of seasonal items from their kitchen garden. Our dinner was delicious. A special mention of the restaurant staff who served us - they were very attentive, had good knowledge of the menu and were able to offer suggestions based on our dietary requirements. Breakfast was equally good - there was an ample choice of cold breakfast buffet items and the cooked breakfast options that we ordered were also delicious.Weddings and Business Events
Mallory Court makes for an excellent and unforgettable venue for weddings. Set in 10 acres of grounds, the country house hotel is suitable for weddings of up to 150 guests. Larger ceremonies can be arranged in the Knights Suite whereas the Main House is perfect for holding small and intimate weddings. The beautiful gardens of the hotel would make the perfect backdrop for wedding celebrations and photographs. The hotel is also a very good venue for meetings and conferences. ReplyDeleteI love the location of this hotel. My family are from the Midlands and this part of the country was our favourite for visits and days out. This hotel looks amazing and would be a dream stay for me. The best from the above article is "The hotel has a helipad nearby. So, if you are planning to arrive by helicopter you can contact the hotel for the helipad co-ordinates.” Now that really made me chuckle. If only.
