Durants Park and the Hertford Road Cemetery in Enfield

Durants Park in Enfield is an open space with tarmac paths and playing fields. There is a small playground, splash pad for kids and an outdoor gym. There is no car park, but there is wheelchair access to the park. The park opens at 8:00am everyday except on Sundays when it opens at 8:30am. The closing time depends on the season closing as late as 21:30 in June and as early as 16:00 in December.

Located adjacent to the park and behind the St James Church is the Hertford Road Cemetery. The cemetery is now closed to new burials and you can see gravestones scattered among the wild grass and flowers. There is a beautiful public footpath that runs through the cemetery and is flanked by an avenue of trees on either side.
