Forty Hall Estate in Enfield during snowfall - January 2013

Yesterday, it snowed all day and by evening there was a white carpet of snow everywhere. Snowfall was predicted for today as well, but here in Enfield we haven't had any so far. We headed out to Myddelton House to have a look at the gardens covered in snow. But the premises were closed due to the adverse weather conditions. So, we walked to the Forty Hall Estate hoping that it would be open. And it was. It was so beautiful. The lake was frozen and the grounds were carpeted with snow. It looked like a scene out of some fairytale. Enjoy the pictures.
