The Maslenitsa Russian Festival at Trafalgar Square - 6th March 2011

Trafalgar Square is all set to host yet another festival. This time its the Maslenitsa Russian Festival.

This is the third year of the festival, the first two being held at Potters Field Park near the London Bridge.

The family event to be held on 6th March 2011 will feature musical performances, song and dance acts as well some stalls with delicious Russian cuisine.

The performers at the event include:

• the Rock group Moral Codex
• Chelsea from Russian reality TV show Star Factory
• Folk group Namgar
• Pop group A'Studio
• Folk diva, Ludmila Rumina
• Ihe Ivan Kupala Band
and many more.

The Moscow State Ensemble of Dance "Russian Seasons" will also put in a performance.
